I shouldn't have started posting a story just before my life became impenetrably busy, but it worked before when I was writing Switch and I thought it would work again, that I'd be disciplined enough to write every night. However, I didn't count on the fact that I'd be working six days a week, and sick to boot. With a massive project wrapping up, I hope to have more time now, so ... my apologies, and I hope to post to Family soon.

No worries! This is a place to come to leave the real world behind..not to get a slap on the wrist because you didn't post a story according to some invisible time line.

Honest..not making this up...I am rereading Switch right now (on chapter 31). So I am going to continue on with rereading the rest of this and then start with "touch" and so forth.

By the time I'm done I will be looking forward to your latest post..but again no worries..just happy anticipation...

You don't want to have a talk with Len's Gram's do you?..lol

Just glad to hear it will be updated eventually - it will be worth the wait. Hope you feel better soon.

I don't want you to feel any pressure; however, after seeing STID 17 times I seriously think Jim and Bones need a visit with Gram at her home to heal. Every time I envision what it was like for them after Jim wakes up in the hospital, the only place I see them getting any healing is with Gram. So if you can be persuaded to write that story, because no one can do it like you can, it would be lovely. Seriously though, if the muse isn't there for that story I will wait for whatever does inspire you, but I can dream. Live long and prosper...

You are too funny -- have you really seen it 17 times? Man, I am really slacking! I've thought about incorporation of the new movieverse, but my mind keeps veering off into what-ifs about what Bones has done by healing Jim with Augmented blood, and um ... I don't know where I'm going yet with that. In any case, I've got to get back to Family first -- no playing with shiny new toys yet!

I have to admit I have now seen ST:ID 18 times. My local theatre only charges $6 and I needed this movie since my mother passed away the week it opened. It has helped me emotionally. After all it was about life and death. But the movie has a dark side to it that I want to get past and I know you can get there. However, I do respect your need to write where your energy takes you. I have put up 2/3 of a short story around the hospital scene and I could not believe where it took Jim when he spoke to Amb. Spock. Not at all where I wanted to go but there it is. Anyway, looking forward to Family.

I am so, so sorry about your mother. If I could hug you through the internet, I would.

I've got kind of a wild post-STID story that's more of a trifle than an epic, but I wrote a two-page outline yesterday, hoping that it'll get me going again, and I've got your story bookmarked, so look for my comments there.

I wish I could do more than send you some love, but please know that I do send it.

I had to tell you, that I got home today from being at a cabin for four days with no wifi/internet/cable. I spent part of my time lying in a chaise on a deck in the forest re-reading my downloaded copies of Switch/Touch/Lazarus and the parts you've posted on Family.

So I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful writing and hope the muse and life/work are kinder to you! ♥

P.S. I saw STID 33 times in the cinema and am anxiously awaiting for it to hit the dollar cinema so I can increase that. /is crazy

I've only seen STID twice so I guess I'm slacking! LOL. Can't wait til it comes out on DVD next month. Have you seen Cumberbatch's deleted shower scene? Can't believe they cut that.

I'd love to read ANYTHING by you. If the Family story isn't working right now feel free to post a STID story. I assure you all your loyal readers are craving more from you. Couldn't help thinking throughout the movie that I wanted to know what the Switch!Leo would do!!!! Please write more soon!!! Pretty pretty please?
