Notes: Thank you all for the well wishes, and your patience. I'm starting to feel human again, which is good, and I did write some this week, although I worry about coherency. In any case, the timeline is accelerating here, but that's purposeful, and will continue on through the end of the story, which is getting closer, I promise. As always ... slow burn is slow, and I'm warning for angst and miscommunication in this part.

Notes: My ~~insanity~~ insomnia continues, and so ... another part. It's hard to believe that I'm 2/3 of the way through my outline, but it's true. In this chapter: angst, revelatory conversation, unnecessary exposition, smirking, swearing, brief sexuality and possible abuse of gender-blind pronouns. As always ... slow burn is slow.

Notes: OK. I'm going to warn for this section which is full of vile imaginary things that were done to fictional children, but have surely happened in reality as well. I'm including a lot of canon elements in this section -- the Eugenics War, WWWIII and the fallout from it, as well as Tarsus IV. These are all things that happened in the TOS!verse, but they are darker here. Probably because I perceive the AOS!verse as darker than the TOS!verse, but, even in that reality, Tarsus was just horrific. As always, I warn for the slow burn, but ... it's totally subtext in this section.
