So I've been avidly reading this story for the past two days (much do the detriment of my homework) and I haven't commented yet because I am a Bad Person, but I just wanted to say that I love, love, love this story, and that these last couple chapters have actually somehow been my favorite. I didn't like how in the movie, McCoy basically gets to smuggle Jim on, then show up in a couple of vid screens looking frazzled and in charge, and that's it- nothing about what he was doing while Jim was off on his adventure. I absolutely adore your interpretation of events.
