the best thing about how you've built their relationship is how its foundation is this friendship that's about more than the epic things going on in their lives. it's about family and home and comfort... it's about lying on grass staring up at the stars, drinking together and just being there. something that's comforting and easy. and yes, i know that their relationship is far from smooth sailing - they both have too much baggage for that kind of easy and thus the BURNING like crazy that just KILLS - but beyond those... complications... their friendship is easy. at the very core of it, it's easy. jim and bones. that's it. at the end of the day, it's going to be them and a glass of bourbon for each.
sigh. i'm rambling. i'm in a melancholy mood. or i woke up too early on a weekend. whichever. lol.
OT: thanks so very much for the concern. *hug!* our part of Metro Manila was pretty safe from the flooding. the only real effect it had on us is that our water supply is kinda iffy. but a lot of places in Manila, and some of them have not flooded in DECADES, were pretty much disaster areas last weekend and for a good part of the past week. a lot of areas are STILL badly flooded and the evacuation centers are just... bad. so, yeah. sigh. thank God, the typhoon that was on it's way here diverted further north, so it wont hit Metro Manila so bad. hopefully, it also means that it wont cause further flooding. sigh. anyway. i swear the world is revolting against the human race.
