ummm, I looked up Soba because I didn't think it was right and umm, it's Oba (or Oba) is granny, Soba means nearness, proximity baasan, is grandmother, Obaasan is honoured grandmother, Baachan is granny or Obachan or Obaa Baasan is what you'd call an old lady on the street
I was waiting for this fic, seriously, almost with baited breath but then i would have gone all event horizon and that's not good. (I have issues with SGA because of Dr Weir) thank you!
