oh and because i apparently can't stop thinking of this, i would really like to hear more about Tarsus. not what happened during Tarsus because i think you already painted a very vivid and painful picture for us, but rather about Jim dealing with knowing that other people in Starfleet that are not Bones, know about his role and what he lost in Tarsus. i'm ridiculously intrigued by that line you have in the Epi about that psychiatrist who isn't Patty being inordinately interested in Jim's history. and i've been dying to hear more about what the press was up to, did they ever find out about Tarsus?
so anyway, that's it for me i think. of course i can't really promise that because another thought might strike me, hahaha.
(do you think you would consider writing something from Patty's POV? i adore her so very much and would love to see her fall in love again... la, don't listen to me, hehe.)
