Yeah, I reread the last few chapters again this afternoon and noticed that. That's part of what makes the whole story so fantastic, though: the events of the movie feel like way more of a gut punch now than two hours of screentime can convey.
Re: typos, I did at one point notice the use of "seering" when I'm pretty sure you meant "searing," but I couldn't tell you where it is; you could probably do a find/replace, though, unless your betas have already picked that up.
