You know, I'm kind of bitter about all their fates, our TOS boys. Bones lives a long, long life, but he's really crotchety and out of sorts when we last see him. Kirk dies alone and rather embittered and I'm sorry, but the whole scattering his essence into the universe thing kinda makes me even sadder, because Kirk was so physical. And Spock? Spock's fate is really the worst one, I think. To have him go from the hope he had of re-uniting Vulcan and Romulus, to this?
