This lovely statement just about encapsulate this entire glorious series. This resolution has been enormously satisfying after such a turbulent and emotional ride. I honestly can't think of another fanfic I've ever read which was so beautifully written and crafted, which moved me and amused me and made me fall in love with so many of the characters.
My own two cents on a follow-up switch fic - if you do a Jim POV story, I think it should be set in the future, not a re-hash of what you've already covered. I feel somehow that if you revisit this same timeline, it will somehow dilute the intensity of the original story.
