God this has been a fantastic ride. My apologies for not commenting before, but I just wanted to thank you so much for this beautiful story. Like so many, this story really has become part of my own personal canon for Nu!Trek verse and especially for McCoy and Kirk.
You brought them to life in such an amazing way, I'm both terribly thrilled and more than a little sad that this story has come to its conclusion. I greatly look forward to reading the postlude story you are planning, and not so secretly hope you'll revisit this verse of yours again more in the future.
With regards to the postlude story and your idea of doing it from Jim's PoV, I suppose it really depends on which character's PoV you think would benefit the story most. I've fallen head over heels in love with your Bones voice, but I don't doubt you'd be able to inspire the same sort of love in me were you to write from a different character's perspective instead the next time around.
