Damn, but I love Reboot Trek! And I love this story and your writing, ceres. This chapter served up some hard knocks for everyone, most of all Kirk. As always, I can't wait to see how Kirk and McCoy push themselves into new territory. I was rather glad the botched apology scene had been cut from the movie, the entire episode ugly and making him a real asshole, but seeing Kirk's dawning remorse has been worth the revisit.

Looking forward to the next day. I think Kirk needs a little TLC. Growing up is hard.
